Obviously, if you’re in Paris, your main concern is where you can get the best crêpes, cheese, macarons, baguettes, croque-madames and of course wine. Well, I’m here to tell you exactly that. Here are the best places I went to during my month-long journey of eating and drinking my way through Paris.
FOOD:
Fauchon: This place is the SPOT if you want delicious macarons or pastries. I personally had hazelnut, chocolate, and pistachio macarons but all the flavors are amazing.
30 Place de la Madeleine, 8th Arrondissement

Il Sorrentino: This restaurant perhaps has the best view of the Eiffel Tower of any restaurant in Paris. It is a little more expensive but definitely worth the splurge in my opinion. They have amazing wine, cheese wheel pasta, and bruschetta!
4 Rue de Monttessuy, 7th Arrondissement
Amorino: There are plenty of these gelato shops all over Paris. It’s both delicious and aesthetically pleasing as you can get gelato in the shape of a flower topped with a macaron!

L’As du Fallafel: This is hands down the best falafel (perhaps the best meal) you will ever eat in your life. It is located in the heart of the Marais and there is usually a pretty long line, however it moves pretty fast and someone will take your order as soon as you get there. (cash only!)
32-34 Rue des Rosiers, 4th Arrondissement
Rue Mouffetard: This is a very lively street with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and of course crêperies. I’ll list a few of my fav places along this street.
5th Arrondissement
-La Crete: A really good Greek restaurant (try the spanakopita and Greek salad!)
85 Rue Mouffetard
-Paraidis: AMAZING crêpes!!
64 Rue Mouffetard

-Les Baux de Paris: Delicious tapas and great wine!
71 Rue Mouffetard

Scotta!: This pizza place is close to the Bastille monument and has the cutest backyard patio area with lots of greenery. They have some of the best pizza I had in Paris and also delicious wine.
11 Rue de Cotte, 12th Arrondissement

Brasserie 2eme Art: If you’re looking for a vegan brasserie, this is the place to go. Located super close to Centre Pompidou, this restaurant has cute outdoor seating and a wide variety of yummy vegan options.
49 Rue Montmartre, 2nd Arrondissement

La Perla: If you’re like me and feeling deprived of Mexican food and margaritas while in Paris, then La Perla is the place for good burritos and strong drinks. It’s a bit on the pricier side but has nice outdoor seating and is in the heart of the Marais
26 Rue François Miron, 4th Arrondissement

La Crêperie: This is a sit-down creperie that has both savory and sweet options. It’s located right near the Pantheon and has a nice half indoor/outdoor seating with cooling misters for a hot day!
12 Rue Soufflot, 5th Arrondissement

Le Trésor: Another cute restaurant in the Marais, this place is on a quiet side street with outdoor seating, good service, and great choices for food and drinks!
9 rue du Trésor, 5th Arrondissement
Villa Saint Jacques: This is a cute Italian restaurant that was right around the corner from the FIAP, where I was living. It’s very simple and cheap with good pizza, wine, and tiramisu!
1 boulevard Saint-Jacques, 13th Arrondissement
Pizzeria Dea: This is another Italian place also a block away from the FIAP. They had great tortellini as well as Prosecco. It seemed to have weird hours though, so I would check beforehand if it’s definitely open.
161 boulevard Auguste Blanqui, 13th Arrondissement

Caffe Vito: Located in the gay area of Paris in the heart of the Marais, this Italian restaurant is a great spot for good pizza and wine. It’s usually packed with cute European men, but I was able to snag a table pretty quickly the two times I went.
12 Rue des Archives, 4th Arrondissement

DRINK:
Café Oz Denfert: Café Oz is a cool Australian bar where I watched the World Cup and ended up on a few nights on the way home. They have delicious frosé as well as Australian beer on tap.
3 Place Denfert-Rochereau, 13th Arrondissement
Le Perchoir Marais: This is a super trendy rooftop bar above the BHV in the Marais. There’s usually a pretty long line to get in so I suggest getting there a little before it opens at 9:00. They have fun drinks and a great view of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
37 Rue de la Verrerie, 4th Arrondissement
Lavomatic: What appears to be a regular laundromat from the outside is actually a speakeasy. One of the washing machines leads upstairs to a super cool bar. Definitely recommend going here!
30 rue René Boulanger, 10th Arrondissement
